FAQ
Questions before you book
Licences, season, boats, tackle and getting here. Missing something? Ask us in the booking form.
Do I need a fishing licence?
Yes. Everyone who fishes in Spain needs a valid regional fishing licence for the water they fish. On our stretch of the Ebro that is Aragón. Rules change, so check the current requirements before you travel, and tell us in your inquiry if you need help.
When is the season?
Camps run from April to November. Wels catfish feed hardest in warm water and after dark. Ask us about the best weeks for your dates.
How long is a camp?
Three, five or seven nights. You pick the start date and the length in the booking form.
How many anglers fit in a boat?
A guide skiff takes up to three anglers and is shared with your guide. The bass boat is private for up to two. Larger groups use more than one boat; we confirm this in your quote.
Do I need to bring my own tackle?
No. Choose full rental, bait and terminal tackle only, or bring your own rods.
Can we fish at night?
Yes, on request. Wels catfish feed hardest after sunset, and guides run night sessions on sonar-marked spots.
Where do we sleep?
In the riverside cabin, in a partner hotel, or wherever you arrange yourself. You choose in the booking form. Airport transfer can be arranged on request.
How do I book and pay?
Send an inquiry with the booking form. A guide replies with a personal quote within 24 hours. Nothing is charged online.
Which languages do the guides speak?
English and German. Tell us in the notes if you need another language.
What happens to the fish we catch?
Your guide briefs you on handling and on the current local rules for each species. Regulations for species such as wels catfish can change, so always follow the rules in force on the day.
